Dr. Michael S. Salloum is a globally recognized public health executive, clinician, and operational leader with more than two decades of experience directing complex healthcare, infectious disease, and international medical operations across government, military, NGO, and private-sector environments. A published thought leader and distinguished fellow, Dr. Salloum has consulted for some of the largest health systems in the world, as well as for premier agencies including the CDC, NIH, Department of Defense, and the World Health Organization.

At Northgate, Dr. Salloum leads global healthcare and public health operations, advising portfolio companies, sovereign partners, and institutional stakeholders on scalable operations, regulatory compliance, international medical infrastructure, and infectious disease preparedness. His expertise spans international strategic development, global supply chain and sourcing, quality assurance and control, Lean and Six Sigma process optimization, turnaround management, and large-scale P&L oversight.

Dr. Salloum has served in senior executive and consulting roles for organizations such as New York State Department of Health, the CDC COVID pipeline taskforce, HCA / Methodist Health Systems, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Providence / St. Joseph Health System, and multiple global health technology and infectious disease platforms. He has repeatedly driven multimillion-dollar cost reductions, enterprise-wide quality transformations, and rapid deployment of mission-critical clinical operations while maintaining strict regulatory and compliance standards.

A decorated United States Army veteran, Dr. Salloum held senior medical operations leadership positions within CENTCOM, Joint Medical Command, and U.S. Army research and biohazard programs, including directing operations for a joint CDC–DOD BioSafety Level-4 laboratory stand-up. His military service is distinguished by honors including the Bronze Star with Valor, Purple Heart, and multiple commendations from the U.S. Army, United Nations, and World Health Organization.

Dr. Salloum holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Global Health Policy and a Master of Public Health in Infectious Disease from Boston University, along with advanced certifications in Lean Agile Process Management and Six Sigma Black Belt from Georgetown University. He is proficient in Arabic, French, and German and is widely respected for his servant-leadership philosophy, cross-cultural fluency, and ability to align public policy, clinical excellence, and operational execution.
